Splitting his post secondary educational experience between Oakwood College and Columbia Union College, Pastor Hetsberger graduated from Columbia Union College in 2001 with a B.A. in Theology. Continuing his education he later graduated with a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University in 2005, where he served as treasurer for the seminary’s governing body.

In April of 2006, during his tenure as Youth Coordinator for the Baltimore Adventist Community Services, Pastor Hetsberger planned and executed a very successful National Youth Service Day that brought over 100 youth from across Baltimore doing service projects throughout the city as well as NFL star Chris McCallister. Youth Service America gave honorary mention of this Baltimore project to over 50 volunteer organizations as an example for other youth oriented service organizations to follow.

Following his calling, he arrived on the Bermuda Islands in May of 2006 where he took the position of Pastor of the Pembroke Seventh-day Adventist Church. After being at Pembroke for just over a year Pastor Hetsberger has had the pleasure of celebrating over 27 baptisms in that time. He also is the speaker for "Power Hour" radio broadcast, that airs on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. on Magic 102.7 FM.

He recently served as the Bermuda Conference Community Service Director where he recently served on the commission for the homelessness in Bermuda, formed at the request of the Premier. He is currently serving as Stewardship Director.
